Founded in 1990 by
Beth Seigler and Kathy Hopwood, SafeSkills®
became North Carolina's first business devoted exclusively to teaching personal
safety. Even today, SafeSkills® is the only company that offers a broad-based approach
to personal safety which includes psychological, verbal, and physical self-protection
skills.
Businesses, agencies, universities and organizations are increasingly concerned about the personal
safety and well-being of their staff, clients or students. To address these concerns, SafeSkills® teaches
seminars that specifically focus on personal safety for these specialized needs.
We offer talks as well as hands-on training seminars that are tailored to meet your
